Jody Battaglia of Beary Best Friends creates a colorful array of wonderful teds, dolls and soft sculpture characters so very reminiscent of old toys. Each has a fantastic personality that springs from Jody’s well-tuned imagination and the stories she’s created for a toyland realm she’s named “Fun Town”. Her work is incredible detailed and wrought with skill from wool, cotton, mohair and velveteen. Amazingly festive and utterly charming, I have loved and collected her work personally since 1996.
