Jennifer Lanne Paintings
Jennifer paints what she knows…floral, fauna and farm…with brave strokes and drenched colors that tell of happy days, good memories and vistas filled with the possibilities of an afternoon in the country. Tree-lined paths beckon a walk, urns of freshly picked flowers beg a whiff, and plates of fruit a taste. Her work is strong and bright, classic with a freshness all her own. Botanicals and landscapes are deliciously lush and thoughtful, while barnyard friends poised and elegantly simple. Jennifer’s creations allow our imagination to take over where her last brushstroke left the canvas. Her paintings are a delight, compact of story and dense in hues that capture her subject. While her landscapes first caught my eye, the small florals she creates in groups are among my most favorite. Deep reds, apple greens, cerulean blue, goldenrod and feisty orange adorn her canvases. I do think I just might have to pick a new favorite color…Jen makes me love them all!
