DEBBEE THIBAULT’S AMERICAN COLLECTIBLES Many of you know Debbee’s incredible folk art creations. Her work – with its distinctly vintage look -- features bunnies, patriotic, veggie people, angels, Santas, Halloween, snowmen, teddy bears, dolls, toys and so many wonderful things! Collectors are attracted to her work as decorative handmade art. As Debbee says, "My work comes from an imagination that was sparked by a love for old toys in my early childhood. After years of research on the making of antique toys and folk art, I began creating holiday items using similar methods. The whimsey of my work touches the child that lives in each one of us. " Each piece is completely handmade and is produced in small editions. Debbee does the original design and then they are recreated in paper composition, "...and like a fingerprint, each is truly unique."
