Miniature doll artist Carol Spence Sellner is well known to patrons of the prestigous Wilton Historical Society Folk Art Show. For many years we have admired Carol's delightful cloth and wooden dolls and her framed creations. And so... we are absolutely delighted to now offer a selection of her finest work! We have asked Carol to use vintage fabrics in her creations for Earth Angels, whenever possible, and the results are darling! Her smallest dolls are just 3/8" and even in that wee size, her artistry and craft are finely captured. Carol makes each doll without a pattern and signs every piece C. Spence Sellner, mounting them on acid free archival paper and capturing them beneath quality, custom framing. We adore her raggedies, gollies, wooden dolls and our favorites are her new multi-character story frames. NOTE: close-up pictures of each piece are available via email request to show the texture of the wonderful vintage and contemporary textiles and face-painting. Enjoy!
